Build technical confidence, visual literacy, observation, composition, perseverance and creative discipline while learning to apply artistic techniques.

About the program:

Co-developed with Florence Academy of Art (FAA) instructors, our immersive fine art programme focuses on developing technical skills, artistic discipline and a deeper understanding of fine art and visual culture. Students will be exposed to a broad range of art history, theory and movements.

Develop technical control, visual literacy and critical thinking while strengthening observation, composition, colour and perspective skills and preparing students for advanced artistic study.

Ages: 9–11.

The pinnacle of the LACA Junior curriculum, combining classical fine art principles with contemporary practice to develop independent artistic expression and personal voice. Rigorously developed in collaboration with Florence Academy of Art (FAA) instructors, the programme guides students towards excellence in technical mastery and artistic form, as well as a sound knowledge base of art history and inquiry.

Learning objective:
Refine technical precision, visual literacy, critical thinking and independent creative expression while developing conceptual ideas, a personal artistic voice and sophisticated bodies of work.

Ages: 11–13; 14-16; 17-19.
