Fine Arts Foundations is an immersive fine art programme for children aged 9–11 who are ready to develop their artistic abilities with greater focus, discipline, and purpose. Alongside strengthening technical skills in drawing, painting, composition, colour, and perspective, students explore the foundations of art history and visual culture, discovering influential artists, artistic movements, and the ideas that have shaped the world of art. Through guided studio practice, thoughtful critique, and creative exploration, they develop technical confidence, visual literacy, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the rich traditions of fine art, laying a strong foundation for advanced artistic study.
